New Paradigm brings together three powerful cultural languages: the toy, the street, and the icon.
The familiar figures of Barbie and Ken are reimagined in radical monochromes — deep blue and vibrant pink — and mounted on skateboards covered in luminous gold leaf. Their colors are deliberately inverted, disrupting the expectations traditionally attached to these archetypes and reflecting the shifting coordinates of contemporary society. Objects originally associated with youth, movement, and urban culture are transformed into contemporary altars.
The skateboard becomes more than a support: it elevates these everyday symbols into a new visual mythology. Suspended between pop culture and sacred imagery, the figures appear almost devotional, echoing the structure of modern icons.
Through this unexpected fusion of street culture and timeless symbolism, New Paradigm reflects a world where cultural references constantly shift and redefine themselves.
What once belonged to play becomes monument.
What once symbolized identity becomes myth.
